It is undoubtedly, drought is resulting from climate change, which resulted from human practices and activities which affected Earth atmosphere though increased gases trapped around the earth and led to warming up the Earth’s weather in general. Irrespective of efforts man exerts to limit the emissions of gases responsible of this change, we here shed light on areas around us that is affected by climate change and my expectations for affect on agriculture sector in general. Southern Europe starting from South Spain, passing by southern France, Italy, to Southern Turkey, in addition to Easter Europe which is facing harsh drought affecting the agriculture sector in general. The climate change is hitting many areas around the globe, but here I will limit my writing on the effect of this change on the vegetable sector in southern Europe, and the expected extra needs for orders of fresh vegetables from our country Egypt. Food security woes might increase, and there might be an effect on volume and quality of fresh fruits and vegetables in Southern Europe, and: while we dearly wish no harm to agriculture sector in Europe, we also in the meantime have to be prepared for increased demand for such commodity particularly the products that need moderate weather and sufficient irrigation system. The change is coming in two forms: either drought as seen in some areas in Spain, in south Italy, in Greece, etc, or floods as witnessed in North Italy, and Southern Germany, and other areas in Eastern Europe. It is time to increase mutual cooperation by providing any additional volumes of fruits and vegetables in case of any shortage in any area in Europe. We have to take advantage of our geographical location and the merit of reaching any European city as quickly as possible, either by air or by sea
